About Our Honey

Summit Valley Honey is dedicated to providing the finest quality honey products. All of our honey is pure, unfiltered, unpasturized, and cold extracted to preserve the natural antioxidants and enzymes in the honey.

Although the majority of our honey comes from the mountain valleys of Summit County, Utah, our bees do like to travel and assist in pollination efforts in other parts of the country.

  • In the early spring, our bees enjoy spending time in the warm California sun pollinating the orange and almond orchards.

  • Late spring, summer, and fall you can find them in the mountain valleys of Summit County, Utah or on the open plains of Nebraska, nibbling on clover and honeyclock flowers.

  • Like most snowbirds, the bees migrate to warmer climates, such as Mesquite, Nevada, for the winter.

This arrangement maximizes the pollination efficiency of the bees and minimizes the amount of sugar needed for bees to survive the cold mountain winters. As an added benefit, it provides our customers with a variety of honey flavors, including:

  • California Orchard

  • Kamas Valley Sage

  • Kamas Valley Wildflower

  • Nebraska Honeyclock

Try them all to see which one is your favorite!
